Sue The Human Pin Cushion

Late in 2007 I was diagnosed with Graves Disease, which is an autoimmune disorder. Part of dealing with it involves frequent trips to the hospital for blood tests, something I'm getting pretty sick, and tired of having to do.

I opted for the atomic solution (radioactive iodine) back in the Spring, and finally my thyroid numbers are leveling out (Graves attacks the thyroid, and really screws up the chemistry of a body). Hopefully this means less trips to the lab, and far less track marks. Ew! and yeah...Ouch!
