2009 Toronto Marathon

This past Sunday morning Matthew, two of the kiddos, my sister, and I volunteered at the Toronto Marathon. We were part of the Hemophilia Ontario team pictured above.

Matthew, and I manned one of the water tables, which is set up for the runners. It is a pretty fast paced job!

We also cheered on the runners to the point where my voice was still a little rough the next day.

My eldest daughter (pictured middle) was the team lead for our group, and did an excellent job of keeping us organized, and motivated!

Go team Hemophilia Ontario!!!

While the event went great the drive home took almost three hours from downtown T.O to the west end.....I'm not exaggerating. Between road closures, construction, and a couple of accidents it was brutal. Next year we are definitely taking the TTC.
