Banishing The Fat Fairy

Since today is a rather dreary rainy kinda day in T.O I've decide to do a bit of indoor Spring cleaning. My first project is to clear out the bedroom closet, and finally rid myself of much of my "fat clothes."

I had gained a horrific amount of extra weight while battling thyroid disease. It was very depressing, and I my self esteem took a beating.

Since July of last year when my thyroid condition was finally stabilized I have managed to lose just over 50lbs, and I finally feel like my old self again. The weight loss came from eating healthy, moderate exercise (yoga, walking) and my metabolism evening out (it is controlled with synthyroid).

I still have another 15lbs I would like to lose along with some muscle toning, so I'm in no rush to buy new clothes, but I have treated myself to a sexy black Spring jacket, and my daughter gave me a couple of pairs of her jeans, which fit really nice. Finally after three years I'm starting to feel like my old self again. :D

So today, I banish the "fat fairy" hopefully forever, and will donate the clothes that are now 5 sizes too big! Its a good feeling.

Good for you!

I get rid of clothes as soon as they get too big.
