Shanon SinnGreat blog post Sue!
I was wondering if you'd ever heard about the Lady in Red at the Hotel Vancouver? She's pretty well known in and around Vancouver area, and it fits with the type of hotel you've listed as well.
I'm sure you know that Banff hotel's ghost was featured on the haunted stamp collection last year but you might not know that there are actual prints of her available too. So cool! How often can a person get a painting of an actual ghost?
Looking forward to your next post :)

Thank you Shanon! I did not know about the lady in red nor the print of the Banff ghost. How cool is that eh!

And thank you for your kind words. :)

YTSLI never thought of hotels and motels are being particularly haunted categories of places. But the one time I saw a ghost (or, as a Japanese friend told me later, a soul) was in an old ryokan (traditional inn) in Japan!

YTSLHi again Sue --

Maybe I'll do a blogpost on it sometime... For now, here's letting you know that the old ryokan was, I found out the next morning, near where some Christians had been martyred centuries ago!
